Research of dairy products market
The current dairy products market in Ukraine is a dynamically developing and highly competitive sector of food products market. In 2004 dairy market capacity made 1 567 thousand tons (or 1 576 million dollars). Average annual rates of dairy market growth in 2001-2004 made 17,3 %. Growth was registered in all segments, the highest growth rates were in the markets of : cheeses - 24,9 %; canned milk - 27,2 %; dry dairy products - 21,7 %; whole-milk production - 19,2 %.
